I have a perspective question that’s been gnawing at me all year, please. We often talk about how you see more of the top and bottom planes of things the more you go below (or above) the HL. Ellipses become rounder, etc. But how do you build an intuition for ascertaining how much when even then cube planes they’re held by can look so different at the same level?
I know years of practice develops an intuitive compass, but I don’t understand how to begin solidifying things rather than taking random shots in the dark like I’ve been. since there are so many iterations my brain can’t remember any of them. Even with cylinders, after a lot of practice I still have no idea what the ellipses look like at specific levels below or above the HL because the cubes that encompass them can take so many forms. 😅
