These are some photos I like. I really like these landscapes especially the one done in black in white. How artists are able to balance out values like that to create visual landscapes is amazing to me. Thats something I'd like to do. What I like about the first two photos is the artist ability to fit people into the world and make it look like an everyday scene. Of course, the designs of the buildings are phenomenal! Some goals I have: 1. Develop my technical skills like construction, value balance, shape design, etc., to create beautiful landscapes. 2. Create awesome landscapes with people in them and make them feel like that are part of that world. 3. Creating people in perspective. I want to create very dynamic people and draw them in cool ways, like foreshortened poses, for example. I am really excited for this class. I am already having a lot of fun 😊

When you said lines aren't real, I WAS LAUGHING SO HARD AND IT'S STILL FUNNY NOW LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!

This was challenging for sure. I tried my best to do the method shown in order to draw the wheels. Any feedback would be appreciated.

The boxes convey the perspective and the shape of the car. Good job! The wheels seem to be attached in the wrong direction. I added arrows to indicate rotation of the wheels in reference photos and in your drawings. As for the ellipses: the top and bottom have some sharp corners. Rounding those out would help to create a more cylindrical shape.

Here are my seal photos. Drawing with my arm is very different, I only did it for the sketch at the very bottom on the first page. For the rest of the sketches, I wasn’t using the whole arm, more like the wrist and forearm to create dynamic CSI curves. I’m going to draw with the arm a lot more.

Hello I’m just submitting the assignment.
@chickenbutter79
Hi, this is a drawing I drew of a woman stomping on someone and snapping their body in half. I know it’s not so detailed it that’s why I’m asking for critique! So any criticism will help. I dont know what look I’m going for. I guess a realistic-comic book style.
@chickenbutter79
Here are my drawings for the assignment any critique is appreciated. Thanks! I had to attend this multiple times. This was hard I’m not used to drawing with my shoulder. I tried to focus on making sure the lines were fluid. Some of the lines look scratchy but I went over them a few times. I wasn’t sure if we were supposed to map out the planes or just focus on drawing the shapes and fluid lines. I’ll probably attempt this again.

Thanks man!

Some feet drawings I did. Any critique is welcomed!

Love them. I don't know if I am qualified to critique, but I noticed that in the first picture the foreshortening is very nice, and generally you separate very clearly the structure of the ball of the foot + fingers from the rest and that makes the drawing feel accurate and believable. Nice job!

Basically, I learned I need to get better at controlling the pressure of the pencil which is super hard. Pretty difficult exercise. I guess that means I have to keep doing it.
@chickenbutter79
Thanks man! I eventually slowed my pace down and it felt easier to draw them.
