Hello everyone! I tried to start simple with a non-complex shape and make it rotate in different directions. Not as easy as it seems, but fun :) Maybe this is a silly question, but how do we know if the depth side of a shape is correct in terms of lenght?

Good evening Nassim! Theoretically each square of the graph paper is a unit of measurement. Because this is axonometric perspective, is going to look crazily distorted. I don't know if there are work arounds or maybe I am missing some geometry rule here but it is looking awfully weird. But this is what I've got. Maybe another student or Marshall will correct any mistakes I might be introducing.

To better understand this lesson, I tried to find on my own ways to add the 15° increments using only 45° and 60° squares. My brain melted.. But it was interesting to find out that there are several ways to get the same angles! (at least if I did it right ^^')

Hi everybody! As Marshall suggested, I started by putting down some freehand ideas, then constructed the final version using ruler and tracing paper. Since I'm not that familiar with isometric perspective, and even less with impossible figures it was at the same time a really fun and frustrating ^^ Several questions came to me while doing this: - How to overcome the frustration of first tries failure? - How to keep the lines parallel and angles consistent when no guide instrument is used? - How to not be overwhelmed by the numerous construction lines that could appear? That's all for now, and thank you Marshall giving us a learning content of this quality :)
