Level 2 portrait. I separated proportion, plane / perspective and value study. For the main portrait I focused on separating the values instead of simplifying it to the max.

I love everything about this. Even how you laid out the page with your name at the bottom corner.

Awesome! This is an excellent pear. The shape design of the core shadow really creates that sense of depth and form. I will say that there is a line to walk for this exercise where some shapes can be considered surface texture rather than representing plane changes, and some of the smaller shapes may walk that line. For this exercise in particular, you really wanna focus on just working with the planes, as if the pear was a low poly 3D model made of simple rectangles, and try to simplify any subtle surface textures that you might see.

Level 1 Blobs to Boxes. Some ended up more like torsos already though. The first one was just for warm up and also used some cylinders.

Hand Study 3. Not really sure why, but I kinda prefer to draw the folding mechanism differently with space inbetween the finger joints. Tried without it though too.

Hand Study 2. Put a lot more gesture in and bent the boxes more which I prefer. I see my mistakes already like the wrist being too thick / box at the wrong place and I especially need to work on consistency with the finger boxes.

Combined the studies partly with sphere & other exercises.
As for reference 5, i'd argue it is just 1 point perspective since the head is parallel to us as the viewer.

Question: In 3D the Z-Axis is up and down (here displayed as Y). Why is it different here? This is kinda confusing.
depending on the software you're using at the moment....Maya has Y for up and down But Unreal has Z. Not sure what software is in your screen (i'm assuming Blender) but it's not a rule in 3d softwares. In math the Y is always the up and down in the cartesian Plane...
