Suddenly I feel that the csi practice took over and the lines seemed ok from the get go (for the most.part). I would just redo them.to get the searching lines effect. It's also a more relaxed exercise than the csi since there is room for error

The neck had an amazing c curve but then I tried to add another one right next to it to include the space of the hair and now it looks messy.

Pre demo only.
Self critique: semi confident lines.
One of the boots out of proportion.
I liked how adding some shadow shapes help suggest the form's shape.
I think in some places you are probably drawing too slowly. Remember that an energetic stroke helps you get a confident line. But overall, great job. Keep going!

I don't understand the challenge. Are we supposed to draw linear drawings only for the next two weeks?
Yes, and no. The challenge is to fill a page with liner drawings, each day for two weeks. While continuing to watch the videos/do the projects. Hope that helps.

Before demo and after demo. The biggest struggle is again to avoid getting into the details.
These look good. Just remember to keep your brain thinking simple and your struggle with details will diminish quickly.

Getting into details to soon is a problem that just about every artist struggles with.
These drawing are looking great!
Looks great! I think the right eye area seems a little too light, could be darker shadowy spots in general. Definitely looks like the reference photo!
