Before watching the demo. I tried not to break down lines too much, but I completely lost it with the hand. I'll watch the demo, redraw and post again.

Start with long, light and loose lines before the smaller marks.

A couple of tries for the camel and the skull as well. I fully confess to taking a peek at Stan's version of the skull before going insane with the vertebrae.

This will definitely require a good bit of practice. Also, I'm not confident using a tripod grip, as I neither write nor draw like that. I hope line quality is not going to be negatively impacted. Maybe I should try to incorporate it as an addition to my usual grip, together with the overhand grip.

Hello. These are my attempts. The pear on top was drawn before watching the demo with a 5.6 mm 2B lead with varying degrees of pressure. For the pear on the bottom I used instead an HB, 2B, 4B, and 6B. Following the demo I also tried to cut down on the number of lines in the contour and simplfy it even further.
