Having a lot of trouble establishing flow & rhythm. I think I understand conceptually how to do gesture but physically I feel like I’m missing something (or maybe a few things?)
I’ve watched the videos a bunch of times (and will continue to) but can anyone give me pointers? Much appreciated.

My camera is bad and my lines are super messy lol. I tried the lighting with photoshop but oh well.

This Is my first day drawing 2-minute and 30-second gesture sketches. Most of these are 2-min., but there are a couple made in 30 seconds.
Any feedback is welcome! I really want to improve my drawings.

Right, so I didn't watch the video prior and truly drew along Stan, and I could barely keep up with the pace; during most of these I didn't even have time to look at his decisions.
I did feel lost on some poses, but oh well, we take these.
Not all are going to be wins.

Some two minutes sketches, quality varies but I feel like I’m slowly getting it. Thanks for looking

oh boy, I feel like my gestures suddenly got worse, that's worrisome. Suddenly too self-conscious about them maybe, I hope that this negativity doesn't stick. Somehow 2 minutes suddenly isn't enough and I can barely get anything done, this was never a problem before, just can't let it get to me.

After weeks of struggling I think I'm finally getting it, although it still takes me 4-5 minutes for each pose. Bridgman and Michael Hampton's books were a big help!
Also, finally understood the overhand grip and how much of a difference it can make!
Thanks a lot Stan! Your courses are amazing!

I'm starting my way of mastering the figure. Finding the rhythm and displaying it quickly is a really difficult task! I wish you all success on this journey.

10 two minutes figures, I switched to the overhand grip to get more curvy lines, I normally draw with the tripod grip, still getting used to it, any feedback is appreciated!

I started the 2 min quick sketches. How are these so far? I worked on thinking about longer sections to have a more seamless liner that then puzzle piece body parts. I think that i need to look at the angles and maybe even proportions. Are there too many lines?

Only got through half of these today. Tried on my own first, then watched the example and tried again, then tried to follow along with the examples. Feeling the struggle with these, or maybe its just my approach, lol.
