Assignment: Draw the Pelvis

Your assignment for this week is to do 3 drawings using the 3d model in the downloads tab. Start with the bucket, cut out a wedge, and then draw the pelvis inside. After you have completed your drawings from the 3d model, draw 3 more from your imagination.

I struggle a lot with drawing ellipses and their axes, and I end up understanding nothing of the structure, any tips?

The last one is the only one I don't like. It feels a bit too skinny, but Idk

Hello everyone, here is my work for the pelvis Asg! Perspective was the hardest for this and definitely looking to get some advice on that if possible! Thank you in advance!

1st & 2nd img- reference 3rd image - imagination Hello! I didn't use the bucket method but rather a box here since I am more confident in building form and perspective using a box ( my ellipses aren't that good, but I'm working on it). https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/pelvis-53240ae515b644d989f0330a9280e5ac -I used this 3d model for the reference studies. I have a lot more work to do and I would appreciate any critique ( be as harsh as you need to be ^-^)
Steve Lenze
I use a box to describe the pelvis too, it's much easier to create it from imagination. I think these look pretty good, especially where you used cross contour lines to describe the form. That's a good practice because it will help you keep track of things.

1st pic: imagine today 2nd pic: ref 1 days ago 3rd : the pelvis bucket drew 3 days ago I have watched the critique video as i am struggling to draw from imagination and realize i did not understand the video fully. Question: its the bucket, I only drew the cylinder that tapers to the bottom, have no idea what the squeezing thing Stan talked about is. i understand how to draw a cylinder big shoutout to Jesper, although the execution may not seem that way. Could someone please help me with that? Coz it seems pretty important to understand the form of the pelvis before jumping into other parts. And if you spot any issues, please let me know

And more rough pelvis, without references and 3-6 without bucket sketch (just for me to see the most problematic parts and propotions).
