My assignments. the idea of having pecs and shoulder conectes as a shoulder path made so much sense as well as getting to know better the little form the scapula and clavicle have

hey Carlos, I like your drawings but feel like some might not be in orthographic view, such as the front, side and rear views of the French press. I think this is because I can see the top of your French press and the curve of its base whereas in an ortho view I think these would both just be flat lines. I think maybe looking at your object from much further away might help? for larger objects I personally find that I can't just draw what I see, but instead I have to observe, understand and then put that information down on paper like its a blueprint. I hope this is helpful!

After doing a couple of Jeff Watts studies I wanted to do an original (with a reference image) but with "Jeff Lines" as Proko calls them. I am fairly happy with the end result, though I think I could've had more line variation and some crisper edges to make it pop a bit more.

Drawing Basics - Lines - Project - Line Master Studies I studied part of The Painter and The Buyer (1565) by Pieter Bruegel the Elder (c.1525–1569). I struggled with the proportions (I'm working on it) and I didn't manage to get all of the lovely sweep of his lines. It made me appreciate the drawing much more though. I love the hand and the shape of the thumb in particular – it seems very modern. I also like the variety of the marks to render the stitching on the jacket and the way the paper is left unmarked for the beard on the chin.

this neat , i think we're all defaulting to copy instagram artists but learning from the old heavy weights seams a better option

the wedging concept is new and exciting for me . i found the the 3D model doesn’t rotate 365 degrees since the references poses can get very dynamic. anyway , obviously using the model as a reference to construct.
