I used a brush from Marc Brunet’s free brush set as I found it was the easiest for me to work with. I will say, I think I’m not using my full value scale enough, and there were definitely areas where I could’ve pushed the light and shadow. On top of that, I’m still kind of shy with letting go of hard-edged line art, but I’m hoping as I continue this course I will break that habit.
If anyone has any thoughts I would love to hear them! Thanks

These look amazing! Are they Photoshop or Procreate?

I definitely agree with you on the value point, but you're in a great position now to use lighter values strategically to define the focal points. These are awesome paintings, just push them 5% more!

30min sketch! Someone’s attacking over the elf town… 👀
I was more focused on pose, but adding background elements was fun!

I attempted level 2 and I felt good about some…. but others are questionable. I really struggle with the titled upward head (specifically #9) and I’m hoping to reattempt it after watching the demos. Any critique or comment is welcome :)

I finished two pieces, one where I tried the arcade and the other where I attempted a subway station. I did these on different days, and unfortunately didn’t have a pencil sharpener for the arcade, so lines are a little thick 😅
One question I did have though is how to keep sizes consistent? I struggled with that during the arcade.
Any critique or comment is welcome — thanks :3

Heres my seal drawings! I think I got better as I went along but there’s still things that need to be fixed. Feel free to comment!

In my second attempt, I felt much more confident with my work. Aligning the eyes using the plumb lines and the measuring unit gave me a greater sense of assurance in accurately placing the eyes and the rest of the features.
