This is my attempt. I'm not sure I like the result. It was way harder than I thought it would be to draw lips!

Hi,
Does anyone know what kind of pencil Stan uses? It seems it has very thick graphite core
Thanks

Just realised that this wasn’t the assignment, but it was a nice exercise in preparation for a different reference.

This is not easy to draw! I need more practice, that is for sure...

I love that after you sign your name, it´s time to allow yourself to add more detail or adjustments, because signing it is not the end if you choose, since it´s your damn work LOL. It´s like signing it activates a part of your consciousness that says WAIT I WANTED TO DO THIS TOO!!! AND THIS, OH LOOK THERE!

Lips!!! I did Proko lips by drawing along; then I tried 2 pics. I had a hard time seeing the darker areas, but I tried to shade what I saw in the pic. I’m not sure if the proportion on the middle lips is correct; I think they may be a little too wide. Any feedback is welcome and appreciated. Tia

Trying to get to grips with lips, forgive the alliteration and the poor shading. I think I’ll practice this more on full portraits.

Asked for help
I would love some feedback on my lips drawings. Since red lips are so dark, it complicates the dark/light approach a bit. How can I approach that in the best way?
