The one I did feels a bit off. It feels like a different hair style than the one in the demo but don’t know why.

I followed along with the demo and here is my result. Overall, I was happy with what I was able to get out of the materials except for my kneaded eraser. It's way too dirty and needs to be replaced. Furthermore, this brand is extremely soft and doesn't maintain any kind of a ridged shape. I might have to find a different brand.

I did one with charcoal and graphite. He can erase through charcoal so smoothly lol, does anyone know what charcoal he uses?

Stan did it in 28 minutes. It took me something like 3 hours! I had some trouble doing the highlights with the eraser. I'm not sure if it's because I use graphite pencil instead of charcoal. Anyway, I think the result is not too bad.

Good tips in designing the hair instead of doing a copy. My try

The photo accentuates dark parts; the drawing itself is a bit lighter overall. But I saw on the photo that it needed some darker halftones, so I tried to correct this morning’s work.

Didn't quite get there in my first real digital attempt, both the likeness and the hair fell apart. Tough to keep everything from looking so perfectly blended and smooth.

I did my first assignment following Proko’s lesson and then I tried one on my own. Any feedback is appreciated. Tia
