In July 2025, I drew the first 2 images without knowing anything about the anatomy. Later in August 2025, I drew the last 2 images just after finishing the torso lessons! The improvement is amazing! Proko is able to dissect complicated anatomy, forms, and structures into easy-to-understand concepts. The critique helps A LOT and the drawing demos helps me understand his thinking process and the reason he put down each mark. Never regret purchasing the complete anatomy course, THANK YOU, Proko!!!!!
If I complete everything that is thought
In proko s course will I be able to draw the
Body and all the muscles from every angle
Can this help me to become japanese animator
Hi there! I'm looking for a good course on skull anatomy that is similar to this, as the skull and head are omitted from this course. Can anyone give any recommendations?
outgang for in-depth facial anatomy, and all the resources on melindaozel.com for facial expressions
You are awesome, Stan! Thanks for making all these courses available to us. You are a great teacher and all the instructors I have had are wonderful. I'm a major fan of Patrick Jones and Jeff Watts and never would have known about them if not for you. You three are right up there with Frazetta for me now. Thank you all.
Hey! That little muscle is probably the coracobrachialis. It is long and thin and it is usually seen when the armpit is exposed.
hello, if i purchase the entire course 'Anatomy of the Human body' how many hours is the course in total. Also as this is an online course how will I receive feedback or ask questions regarding the content of the course?
You won't, you will be relying on the community for the most part if you want feedback.
The free pose link proko.com/free-pose-deangeloo is not working. I wonder if it has been moved to a different place. Can you please check? Thank you!
Actually I just found it at a different link: https://www.proko.com/tool/models-in-motion-deangelo/overview. The code is working and I was able to check it out. Thank you!
If I watch the lessons and practice for an hour everyday as recommended, approximately how long will it take to go through this course?
You're not really supposed to "get through" the course. If all you're focused on is the end, you won't see what's on the road.
It´s hard to say. The complete course consists of 364 lessons an you´re supossed to do 1 lesson each week. Theorically, it will take you around six years to finish the course and finishing it doesn´t means you learn everything. Anatomy takes a long time to study, but don´t worry, learning just some of anatomy can make a big difference in your drawings. Also, I recommmend investing some time practicing the figure drawings fundamentals before learning anatomy.
I am very likely to purchase the head and figure drawing courses, but am unsure about this course which is quite a bit more expensive. I can see that it would be very useful for more advanced human figure drawing. However, my main interest is in animal drawing, would the techniques learned in this course be helpful in that arena? Obviously the specific anatomies will differ, except possibly for primates, but would there be enough general techniques in learning anatomy to justify buying the course? I should say that I have signed up for Aaron Blaise animal drawing courses so this would be in addition to those.
you can find a discount code online that drops it down a bit, also you can think of each part of the body as it's own separate course that will take equally as long as the gesture course so you only need to get 1 course at a time every few months or more. It's what I am doing. It took one person on here like 2 years to get through portait, gesture, anatomy.
What does Proko recommend to do first? The fundamentals of figure drawing or the anatomy course?
Figure drawing is considered a more basic fundamental course. If you don't to know how to draw gesture and mannequinize the figure, you'll be adding anatomical details over a faulty foundation.
Cause I don't want my figures looking like they have no design , but I also think figures where you know where to accurately place the muscles and choose to leave things out are stronger
Is there any official way (aside from perhaps Facebook; which I do not have access to) to get feedback in this course on homework/practice? Or do we just post it here and hope to get feedback so we do not keep making the same mistakes?
Thank you for your answer in advance.
yea you are suppost to post it on this website. The facebook thing originates from a time where this website didnt exist
Hi so is there an anatomy class for kangaroos? Asking for a friend.
Hi i have some questions I could not find answer to. Can I share somehow a course with others, my friends for example? Is this possible to log in to one account on a few devices at the same time?
Hi, two questions, why isn't the head a part of the body? :-) and is the Skelly app available for desktop computer as well or it's only for mobile phones? If available, is it part of the Premium package? Thanks
I don’t know about the first two questions, I purchased the app separately from the course.
Hello, I am a Korean user. Are the courses available as YouTube videos? Are translations available?
