I have enjoyed this podcast and getting to be a part of the fun and interesting discussions you guys have. Pending in my mind I had a question I wanted to call in for voicemail and now I feel I've waited too long.
Marshalls book recommendations have been great, one of the episode he was talking about a perspectives book and spending, maybe a month going through it?
I wanted to ask if he could be more specific and explain what he meant or his process to the point he feels he has a good grasp of the information.
I'm sure it's a boring question and I could make an educated guess at it, but I would just like to hear it from his wealth of wisdom, if possible.
I look forward to what fun you guys come up with next and I hope you will share your conversations with us.

Hey there Stan and Marshall, these Draftsmen podcasts have been amazing so thank you both.
Drawing for me is a hobby, something I have done on and off over the years, but have never really felt like I was making any progress with it. Probably because I just didn't know how to get better, or what to focus on. The Draftsmen Podcasts have been hugely motivating and informative, because even though drawing is a hobby, the advice given in these podcasts has been invaluable and I feel that I have improved tenfold over the last year or so since I found them. Marshall's 1994 perspective series in particular has had me captivated, great series.
So, even though I am a hobbyist, a network engineer by day job, a British expat living in Japan for the last 16 years... whatever, thank you both for a hugely illuminating, entertaining and above all motivating series.

Fantastic Draftsmen podcasts , I’ve watched them all. Marshall’s knowledge and book reviews are brilliant, equalled by Stan’s advice on developing art draftsmanship. Excited to hear there will be more on painting topics by Stan, and love the ‘Developing your outdoor studio’ episode with Stan’s plein air paintings, they rock! Very much hope to see you both together again in the not too distant future sharing your debates. Thank you for all the time you have spent making these videos - they are awesome!

Thank You Stan and Marshall, for all FUN that you have shared between each other while you brought art topics to all of us . . . your "crew".
It was a great introduction for my nephews that are looking to start their creative careers.
May you both be blessed with your next, new adventures ! ! !

Draftsmen was really a great podcast, touched lots of important art related subjects. Sad to hear it's over, also looking forward to the perspective course. Can't wait to see it, I am sure the course will be amazing.

aww, I've had so much fun watching this podcast. Not just for the knowledge but also the sense of humor and the awkward introductions xD

Interesting discussion on "what is art?" I've also wondered, "What is the difference between art and craft?" There is also a discussion about what is the difference between good and bad art.

Well...guys...cards on the table. At this point I just listen to this podcast to listen to Marshall's silly songs.
But while we're being nostalgic and reminiscing about the past, my favorite episodes were the one with James Gurney, the other with Terryl Whitlatch (where Stan could not keep a straight face advertising manscaped) and finally the psychology of performance one.
It was fun while it last

So sad to hear this :( Draftsmen is not only the best podcast for artists, it is the ONLY podcast for artists! I think you guys should open suggestions from the audience to submit ideas for future episodes. Doesn't necessarily have to be about drawing and painting. Can be about anything related to creativity.
