2023/9/26. Good morning everybody. Here's my latest "comic Hands" study sheet. Some are more abstract than others. Anyway I had a lot of fun in experimenting different solutions thinking about the final application and use of each hand. If u gentleladies and gentlemen have some suggestions about how I could improve them don't hesitate to leave a comment. Thanks!

Hey Marco, nice as usual :) I have a few small things that I think will help with these. First of all, with cartoon hands, try to use straight lines against curved lines on the other side. Also, don't forget to use gesture and good anatomy. Even though they are cartoon hands, they still need good anatomy. I hope this helps :)

Here are my attempts at comic book hands. They are from photo reference with the stylizations added by myself. The inspiration for these was the Spawn comic. I will be drawing normal human hands later on.

Really cool work. They look solid yet they have gesture.
Patrick Bosworth
These are incredible!! Really nice gesture to the hands, solid structure, the balance of line weight and rendering is very deftly handled, and the shape designs of the spot blacks are beautiful! Great job!
