These were both before watching the demo. I think I'll try the camel now that I have watched the demo and see if I can improve my line quality some. I think I get hung up on trying to match the image more than I am focusing on clean, confident lines, so I will keep that in mind next round.

The wood was the hardest part. Lol. The boots were much harder than the snail. Criticism is welcome. I’ll do the lvl 2 tomorrow.
I also found the boots to be challenging. But I definitely see some confident lines in your drawings, especially in the curves and laces of the right boot!

I really like the loose quality of some of your marks. There are others that get a bit too dark and lose the fluidity because it seems like you went over them a few times with a heavier hand, so keep striving for lighter marks that you darken as you become confident in them. You did a great job simplifying to CSI!

Hi! Nice work, definitely has a volumetric feel to it already. Try starting even lighter with your light greys so there's more of an even shift from step to step as the values get darker, rather than starting darker from the jump and not having as much difference left in between the greys. It helps to lessen the pressure with your pencil and also to use more of the side of the pencil, taking advantage of that softness rather than the harshness of the sharp tip. Hope this helps, keep up the good work! :)

Any criticism is welcome. Probably need to do this a few more times.
