It was incredibly difficult to draw the letters but I had a fun time conceptualizing the words. I'm not sure if the subway idea comes thru. I didn't want to add too much detail to the typeface. I tried to add extra windows and a door but it looked too busy.

Beautiful work. I just thought I'd point out that the "SUBWAY" depth lines don't seem to converge to a point, making it technically Orthographic (All the depth lines don't converge, they stay parallel).
I think this is also the case with the "CAKE" depth lines.
Having said that,, it looks great! Very precise work, that's awesome!

This was fun. Phil and Marshall shared great advice, techniques, and stories.

I'm not sure if I made the glutes big enough. I watched too many Sir Mix-A-Lot videos in my youth.

The character study I chose to illustrate is Charlie Frown, a man in his mid-40s who has come to the realization that his life is meaningless. To dull the pain of this reality, he turns to alcohol and nicotine, which eventually leads to a downward spiral of confusion, rage, and shame. This character and story are completely original and were not inspired by the comic strip Peanuts; please don't sue me, Charles Schultz's estate!

Here are my level 2 thumbnails and larger sketches. This took me much longer than expected. I constantly vacillated between values. It was indeed challenging but I learned quite a bit. :)

Level 1 value composition studies. I'm not sure if I'm placing the lighting correctly, especially when I move the light source.

This took some time to figure out. The tires were the hardest part. I didn't use the blob method. I constructed boxes and attempted to fit the car inside it. Some of them turned out a bit wonky.
