To improve figure drawing there's three visual memory exercises you can use. First, we observe a pose, memorize it, put away the reference, and draw it from memory. Next, we draw the pose from reference, then put it away and redraw it from a different angle. Finally, we study the pose and then draw it from a new angle with altered proportions. These exercises help us understand forms, enhance visual memory, and improve our ability to design figures from imagination. Regular practice is key to getting better at this skill.
