Attempt at sketching a wasp. Think I did pretty well on the first image then on the second page I did a lot more line searching than I needed to do to not being familiar with other views, particularly the belly view. Ill have to practice once or twice more on this one. Also I think I need to control the darkness on my sketch lines here since the lines that are meant to be darker look feathery on top of the lighter ones.

Attempted the belly view again, think I figured out the perspective and proportions a little better.

First attempts at the skull and camel. Really liked that my linework improved after trying the level 1 challenges. I can definitely draw a good curve, its really controlling the direction of the curve and maintaining larger arcs I think I need work on.

Attempt on the boot and snail. Dont know if its just me but I think my line quality looks pretty scratchy.
Really nice simplification and a great process on the boots from larger to smaller shapes. The likeness and proportions of both drawings are really good! And despite the "scratchiness" both drawings are clear and well organized.
The scratchiness you note might be due to having to go over the lines quite a lot in order to get the line weight you want. You also ended up with a quite limited variety of line weights. Perhaps you are working with a rather precise tool like a very sharp pencil or mechanical pencil? Maybe you could try to experiment how you can vary your line weights more in other ways such as with pressure, or angle of the pencil. Or just use a darker pencil for the final line drawing?

Really cool course! Tried to improve what I got wrong on my first attempt and I think I did better on the 3rd try.
