added comment inDemo - Hierarchy of Importance Line Weight
After watching the demo of importance of line weight I am very confused. Stan is drawing exactly like he has told us not to. His fingers are scrunched down near the point of the pencil and instead of making a single, swift confident line, he is making short repeated sketch marks as he has told us not to do. I wish we could ask questions.

Asked for help
Hello everyone, here is my attempt with the boots. I'm not sure if I'm the only one in this situation, but I felt really overwhelmed by the amount of information when I had to draw the laces, I really struggled to organize it all. If anyone has any advice, I'm all ears. :) And by the way i did it on Krita.

I have never tried such a way to draw. But I am satisfy with the first result. I would appropriate for some feedback.

At first I wasn’t even going to attempt the laces. But I stepped away and returned the next day, tackling one lace at a time. As someone who wants to learn to paint looser and with less detail, this assignment didn’t bring me any closer to that goal, but then that wasn’t the purpose of this assignment. I hope I learned something.

I have to remind myself that I'm just a beginner. lol. One thing I feel like I struggle with is making satisfying looking strokes using the pencil. I feel like they are so fuzzy. I am left handed and tend to draw with the side of the tip of the pencil. I think I should be drawing straight down on the point. Does anyone have an insight with that that they can share? Also, I try to draw right do left, but that's impossible. I smudge my paper sooo much and that gets frustrating.

I only have one pencil, so it was hard to create the different values. I thought we were supposed to show the lines, so I would make most of them lighter now that I have watched the demo. Some shapes are not correct.
