I have real trouble finding good, even lighting to take pictures of traditional drawings. I brought the the contrast up a little because my camera wasn’t picking up the lines because I made a point to draw more lightly than usual.

I like the simplification, it's very clear and clean. There seems to be a tendency towards curves to be aware of, so I would challenge you to look for more places to introduce straight lines as you continue simplifying into CSI. This will help bring in more variety and contrast within your drawings.

Watched the video yesterday during lunch and then came back and did the value study after work. Difficult with the default Procreate Pencil brush and pressure alone. I think next time I'll just choose different values from the color wheel, similar to choosing a 6b and then an HB for different values.
I've had my eye on the digital painting course by Jon Neimester and I was just looking at it and saw it offered a bundle, but the second part says "Digital Illustration" and is showing "0 lessons". I'm assuming it's forthcoming... does anyone know about the timeframe for that? I haven't been able to find anything. (This also isn't really a "bug" but i wasn't sure where else to ask this.)
