Had a lot of fun with these! I did line master studies from Claire Wendling, Jordi Lafebre and the last one was more for fun but I did some from Yukinobu Tatsu.

The tracing went very well I think. Had a bit of trouble with line weight for light.
Hi, great try. I think it would help te create a value scale on the side of your paper with 5 values (lightest being the paper) and then decide what value to use where. I would also try not to line the values so dark and try to work more clean so you see the edge of the values better. Hope this helps!

Was doing these in a park and got a bit distracted drawing people. These excercises really help!

Hi, my name is Nikki and my goal is to learn exaggerated perspective for animation and to learn to use perspective creatively in storyboard for good visual storytelling.
My favourite artists are:
- Richard Williams: I love how he can move the camera freely in his traditional animations. His characters have so much volume and life even when stylised.
- Satoshi Kon: He has a more realistic style and I love the way he uses perspective and movement to tell his stories. Very dynamic and great shot transitions!
- Megumi Ishitani: I love Oda his perspective in One Piece but I was blown away when I saw Ishitani her directing of One Piece episodes. Her use of perspective and colour is very dynamic and playful and I absolutely love it!
- Juanjo Guarnido: I really love his cinematic approach to still images and the detail in his panels.
There are a lot more artists (especially animators) that I love but these four capture the direction I want to go in right now.
Ah how did I not think about Guarnido ! Really love his work with watercolor for the Blacksad serie :) Even read his book about his illustration processn good choice

Not really happy with these. I am not really good with volume so I will have to practice that a lot more! Tried drawing from the refference first to get an idea of the shapes but the shape language in my own designs could be a lot better. Feedback is very welcome!
I like these. For added volume, just add more interior lines and make them lighter than the outer contours. Little guy looks like he has commited a crime and must get away. Funny.
Great work. Keep it up,
Alan

Happy with how these turned out. I think I can show more volume and I added to much detail.
