Thank you for the lesson. I have a question. I've heard a rule - the darkest lights are lighter than the lightest shadows. However that doesn't work in this example because the lightest tone of the hair is darker than the shadow of the skin. So I am a bit confused.

It is all based on the local colour. the darkest lights of the hair is going to be lighter than the lightest shadows of the hair. The darkest lights of the skin is going to still be lighter than the lightest parts of the skins shadows.

I can't wait for the end of the course when marshal does so many jokes through out the course, he doesn't "suck" at them anymore.

Not sure if this is relevant to the class but you can also change where two objects intersect into each other depending on where you highlight the intersection despite the blocks not actually changing position.

Congrats to those who have finished the course. Can't wait to finish it myself once I complete my university assessments.
Looking clean, especially love the hand. If you were to ever do this assignment again, you should try to be more loose with the lines

It is hard creating the right proportions with the lines but I think I am getting there. The snail shell was probably rushed as it is not connected to the snail like in the reference. Also I am not too sure how well I have implemented the lines.

Not too sure how well i did on this assignment. It is hard to determine where to put edges where there is not an obvious line between the shadows and the light.
