Hello!!
Here are my attempts on doing this exercise, I had trouble with the Buffalo because he is such an beautiful ad strong creature yet has many complicated shapes... In some I cheated a bit were I used eleven or more shapes, sorry for that but overall I think with more practise I will get there- but what do you think?

I felt way too scared at the beginning, that I kept delaying when I should draw the skull xD
Finally drew it, and understood what Stan meant by "my proportions are off because i'm focusing on the line quality". But WAYYYYY more :') Noticed it when I stepped back to take the picture, that my skull look like he went to the dentist (swollen jaw) Anyway, it did take me an hour (and a half maybe), I'm reaaaaaally slow when I draw, but I'm glad I did it (and covered the whole page :') Maybe should have done it smaller ?)
Also tried to replicate the edge Jeff Watts do, while not having the same tools, hope you can notice it at least a bit.
Thanks for the potential feedbacks :p
(Mine's the left one, of course.. xD)

Here is my experience with drawing and studying Eliza's art. Although capturing her intriguing and challenging lines was difficult, I had a lot of fun trying. What made the process even more enjoyable was listening to various interviews with her as I worked. Hearing her talk about her passion for drawing, her thoughts on art, and how it can be both hard and fun was inspiring. It felt like she was guiding me through her creative journey, making the challenge all the more rewarding. The first photo is actually my second attempt at drawing one of her pieces. This time, I tried to be more relaxed with my approach, using a regular blue pen for a freer, more fluid feel. I hope you like it! If not, I’d love to hear your thoughts on why—it’ll help me grow. Thank you!

I really like how you can use line weight, but at the same time, there are so many variations that my brain stops braining :D Today, only an example before demo and following the demo. But I'm sure I'll post more examples in the next post. I just need to organize the knowledge because right now it's too confusing for me.

After I watched the demo, I realized I didn’t make much variation but simplified it, which made it a bit plain and boring. I also forgot to emphasize the nostrils and ears, so this time I did. Not to forget, I completed the second project without fully understanding how light interacts with shapes and planes, but I tried my best to make it clear that the light was coming from below and to the left of the rhino.
I really hope I did better this time, but if you have any suggestions or critiques, I’d be happy to hear and learn.

I had some trouble with the lighting, which made it hard to trace, but I think I did a pretty good job. What do you think? The fist one is my attempt of tracing the linear version of the photo to avoid getting distracted by proportions. The second I used the hierarchy of importance method and last but not least I used the shadows and light direction method.
After watching the demo and critique videos I tried this challenge again, this time more loose and confident with my lines.
Here are my attempts before the demo:
