Not only are they smooth but the proportions look good as well! :)

Played with this one a lot. Did some quick pre demo doodles then followed along with Stan. Finally today I did a couple post demo. I struggled :/ But! I remind myself each day that this is only my first round through the basics course. I plan to do it over and over and over and over...*trails off

Good improvement from the pre-demo to the post-demo! Keep it up :)

Level 2 attempt. As with rhythms I'll be revisiting this one for more practice for sure!

Maybe I'll make him in Blender and have him shoot quarters or something. That was fun :)

Just a warmup :)

I attempted my kitchen from the POV of the kitchen window. I've never wanted to use a ruler so bad in my life haha. :)

I just finished seals/sea lions in the Dynamic Shapes section. Seeing your work with cross contours makes me excited for this lesson when I get to it. Great work!

SLEW, this was great! Thank you, Stan and team for making Proko happen!

I will make these part of my warmups in order to get better, more readable. Struggled with slipping into following the contour. Had to put my squints on in order to find the flow. I did do an overhand grip through out with charcoal (on newsprint) which I enjoyed. I went through probably two thirds of a Strathmore this week taking many cracks at it. I will do many many more to improve!

Good work! These are really nice. I love how expressive these drawings are. I really liked this one reference you used, so I thought I would try my own hand at it. I noticed that a lot of these photos have significant camera distortion. It makes measuring proportions more difficult. Remember that the widest part of the hips is about halfway between the top of the head and the feet. This is a measurement I tried to establish very early to make the rest of the pose easier to build. I’m happy to hear you’re enjoying these assignments. Working with rhythms can be so much fun and it’s a great exercise to do regularly. You WILL notice improvement in your drawing if you keep this practice up. Good stuff. Keep it up!
