I tried to link areas of the same tone or to balance the tones. I think I learned a fair bit by doing these but I feel like I'm still not really sure.

Here are my level 1 attempts.

Thanks for the feedback, I have tried again and made the darkest value darker and the middle value darker, but I think the darker values (3 and 4) are now too similar. It's really hard!

Level 1 I used 2H, HB, 2B, 4B, 6B and 7B. I tried the markers as well but only had CG2, CG4, CG6 and Black, and it didn't work very well, especially in the lighter range.

After doing level 1, I also tried level 2, which I agree is harder.

These are my level 1 attempts. I found it tricky at times, but I think I got better at it.

Here's my level 1 submission. It took me some time to get used to drawing houses because I haven't really done that before, but I enjoyed it and feel like I've learned a lot.

I am slowly catching up. This is fun and I hope to do more of these.
