just can't wait to try out the concepts so did a lil doodle while watching Marshall's videos. I'm super excited for this journey of learning perspectives.

I'm a musician, but am learning to draw so I could combine my projects combining my own hand-drawing animation and music. I hope to achieve my goal of becoming a professional artist which makes a living combining classical music and animation.
I am an amateur artist and have not exposed myself much to perspective art, but have always wanted to practise perspectives further but don't know where to continue (Yes i've done the boxes drawing!), i especially struggle to draw my characters and sceneries in perspective.
I am also currently in the proko's beginner's course but I really don't want to miss out on this course as i'm a big fan of draftsman podcast! My influences are rather diverse due to my background.

I have been away for a month and feel slightly behind in my drawing skills. Thank you Proko, for having this community, which has been helpful in getting me back on track. Time to get my line quality solid again ! :D

1st pic bottom is my imagination drawing of a sloth.
I can see huge improvement after watching the demo. Exploration is about understanding the characteristics of your character and then implementing them into your ideal character.
My goal is to create a sloth having fun while maintaining its adorable and laziness. My ideal goal is to be able to animate it :D Feedback is very welcome.

i'm a natural hard worker and fast-paced and hence I adore sloths' contrasting slow-paced lifestyle and just their adorable personas (those smiley faces make me so happy). Currently watching olympics gymnasts and really want to incorporate some gymnastic poses into sloths as they seem to have so much flexibility. Maybe I'll do a couple more - feedback is very welcome :)

Did a set of 3 photos i found online. Overall I think they turned out okay, but certain parts like the feathers and the fuzz on the bee were really tricky, and I wasn't sure how to approach them, even with loosely sketching

First pic: 2nd attempt with 2B after watching video
Second pic: 1st attempt with 4b after watching video
Third pic: before watching video
I think I'm getting the loose lines more after switching from 4b to 2b pencils. The lines still feel a bit awkward as I think I'm using too much straights but they were intentional to keep the angles right.
