This is my first sphere, Procreate w turpentine brush. I will attempt two more before moving on and add them to this post, but please feel free to critique anytime, as I'm having trouble "seeing" and unsure what I did well or poorly here. Seems blurry.
@angelic_garbage
A second one. Haven't practiced, hoping to get in the swing of regular practice by November.

Great overview! Not overwhelming at all and that's much appreciated. In case anyone is interested, Clip Studio Paint does now have a built-in timelapse feature. ^_^ https://help.clip-studio.com/en-us/manual_en/210_file/Timelapse.htm

Did this before watching the demo, and added the notes afterwards. I did not follow all the lines used fully as I left out lines that were less appealing to me in my own opinion. Also, certain lines had to be constructed since I was using a graphite pencil. Halfway through, I noticed that it was possible that the light source was coming from the right, which improved my understanding of why certain lines were used. Overall, it was a fun exercise and I learnt a lot.

this looks so good :O

I'm unhappy with what I've done with my line weight here but I'm not sure what I should do. Please share how you would have solved this problem! background on ref: My dad's gettin old and he started feeding the squirrels. This guy appeared on my bedroom window the other day looking for a handout. Needless to say, I FEAR FOR MY LIFE.
@angelic_garbage
this is a little better perhaps :/

I think the spider looks the best with the most confident lines although the line darkness feels too random. The car and the hand have good big lines indicating the larger shape but the lines get less confident and more fuzzy in the smaller details.

Handsome fella. I think you could use more loose lines for this exercise and make some thinker and thinner in certain areas. Anyways, great work, Alan

Penguin first! I'll upload the rest as I do them. For fun, please enjoy my daughter's (4 yo) birds. She said "wow the penguin is too hard. but I'm really good at birds!" That childlike confidence is inspiring. I love doing my drawing exercises with her. ^_^
@angelic_garbage
The rest I did digitally.
@tlm
Quite a challenge but it was really good exploration! The graphite drawing is my final and I included my reference photos.
@angelic_garbage
lmao I love their faces/expressions :D

First Pear Attempt! Happy for feedback. I can already see many problems just looking back and forth at the pictures here, wow!

This is a great start! I like that the values are clearly separated. Here’s a demo I made that could help you with your next one.
