Asked for help
Graphite images completed before watching the demo; blue during and after. Most of these are level 1 while 3 are level 2. I will continue to practice the skill of drawing shapes from memory and/or imagination until it becomes less challenging.

I practice all of the following from memory and imagination.
@tlm
My brain just does not want to stop at the shapes. I ended up doing a detailed rendering first. Wrong. So I did another trying to keep it to simple shapes, which I do correctly. I just haven't mastered the discipline to stop.
@tlm
Another great exercise! Simplifying is a challenge. I enjoyed the struggle! :-)

I studied with Eliza Ivanova first. Next I studied two with David Malan. I plan to continue this practice.

I can't believe I forgot to finish baby girl's ponytail! Here she is. How did I not see that??? Lol!
@tlm
I did one from direct observation (Hierarchy) and one from a photo (Shadow and Light). Also tried out my Ebony Jet Black pencil on the headphones.
Rachel Dawn Owens
Lovely drawings!
@tlm
I tried the blue pencil and not sure how I like it. I do like the red a lot though. I also need to "drive" my pencil more straight during hover draw. I had a pinky finger injury on my drawing hand before I did drawing practice activity #5 (connect the dots) and this was a great time to practice that skill a bit.
@tlm
Quite a challenge but it was really good exploration! The graphite drawing is my final and I included my reference photos.
@angelic_garbage
lmao I love their faces/expressions :D
@tlm
My Level 1 Sketches in the order sketched. I haven't watched the demo yet. VR Girl was my loosest sketch. Hands are always tough but as I said before, I'm loving the challenge. :-)

I decided to draw along with the demo and also try out the red pencil on the last two I completed. I think I agree with Stan and that red it puts me into "sketcher's mind."
@tlm
Camel and Skeleton I'll likely do the Skeleton again because there are still too many details. I'm loving the challenge!
