I'll admit on this one i just wanted to finish so I kinda went faster here and maybe didn't catch all the detail. this one was hard.

I tried to also get the shadow edges in this one too

Nice! You added an extra few levels of difficulty and it turned out really good. The knees could be cleaned up a bit more. There’s a lot of noisy lines there. You did great simplifying the rest of the camel. This is a really pretty drawing. Keep it up!

So there were a lot of curves in this one, and I feel like i may have forgotten about csi curves... it just looks too organic. Not sure if it was successful.

I agree, I think there are some lines here that you can simplify to straights. Overall, you've done great!

This was really hard to make into c and s curves because there was so much detail.

Great job!

This was really hard! But I started getting better the more i did. I just found it challenging to connect the head shape to the hat. it was hard to keep it centered.

Nice! I definitely see a progression in looseness and line confidence. Especially in the ones where you draw all the way through the circle multiple times over, I think those are the most successful when it comes to capturing good sketching habits. Keep up the good work! :)

Alrighty... here's my sketch. I think what I like about it is the proportions, but I may have added an extra value or two by accident. I drew this pretty small in the top 1/4 of my sketchbook. I do like it, but the lips and the forehead were hard to figure out the values for. Also his left eye was mostly in shadow so I had to decide to follow the shading value rule or to show the anatomy... and the shirt wrinkles were tough too.

Here are two versions. After I did the first, I realized that all the values of the lemon should be lighter than the leaf. So I redid it and I think it reads better. To make it even better, I can make the leaf's shadow lighter, as well as use a wider range of pencil densities. For this I only used 2B, which caused me to press pretty hard into the paper.

I can't seem to download any reference images. Can someone help me? I bought a few courses a while back... not sure why I can't figure it out.

2022/4/14. Good morning everybody. Here’s my 30 minutes warming up exercise. I made the lateral plane of the torso too narrow. Thanks.
