Applying landmarks to your drawing.

1st is done alongside video. 2nd is done after video only reference being the original photo of the woman. Any recommendations on ways to improve? I think I may have needed more rhythmic lines and probably the original gesture could've been more expressive.
Giorgi Karkuzashvili
Before and alongside watching the demo. Anatomy course will truly back the gesture up!

Here is this plus the previous example. I still have to watch the videos and check what I did wrong. I clearly messed up the proportion on the second.

Ooof!! For 1 and 2, I draw as Stan drew. This time I drew by myself with just the reference photo, and then watched Stan afterwards. Much harder than "following along." My drawing doesn't feel as "structural" as Stan's did in the end, so any feedback to that would be super helpful! Was I too focused on "contours"?

I am struggling with these assignments! Any feedback and tips are appreciated! I am also new to drawing digitally. Having a hard time with both mark making and getting accurate proportion. After watching the critique video I'm struggling to cope with the fact that I both need to be good at proportion as well as see beneath the skin better to understand the landmarks and their relationship to the figure. I'm overwhelmed to say the least.

just try to keep in my that you´re not going to get it right the first times you do it, try to practice one thing first, breaking a task into smaller parts makes it easier to not get overwhelmed. good luck!

well done!

Critiques welcome!

You have got an excellent eye for proportion! As for the critique, since the assignment was landmarks, I would make sure you are locating all of the landmarks on the front of the body in your study! Specifically, the ones I would make sure you indicate are: The manubrium, the ASIS points, and the greater Trochanter. These are really important points to see the relationships between points on the body. Great work!

Loving the confident lines and shape design. Lovely.

I followed along with the back landmarks video. This felt tricky to do without much knowledge of anatomy, but it makes me excited to start learning!

Looks quite good to me, only the lower left leg seems a bit too long and too curvy ^^
Ernie Crane
Nice flow in this -- the pose looks life-like.
@moonwhocandraw
I decided to do 4 drawings before going to the robo bean. Even with a clear picture it still seems difficult trying to draw the scapula properly. Was also wondering if the 4th picture (The one sitting on the table) has a better head to body proportion ratio than the others.

Hello :) this is my first attemp at landmarks assigment. Any feedback is very appreciated!

I like the gesture. The landmarks for the pelvic bone seem too low and too small. Look for the bumps on the body to find more accurate positions for them.

I'm still struggling with this topic as well, but I am noticing a few missing landmarks. For the first one, I'm not seeing that sort of middle v shape landmark between the shoulder blades, I'm also missing that donut shape at the hip which you should at least be able to see part of. There are also opportunities to define the lower back as well as seen in the video above. For the second one, I'm missing the collarbone landmark, the rib cage area, the delt is also ill-defined. I think something overall that I am also seeing is just not doing enough to the contrast between the underlying foundation drawing and the landmarks on top, leaving an overall muted look for the strokes. All that being said its good to see you putting in the reps, some of the flows of the line work are not bad either.

This is hard. I feel like I need to learn anatomy before I even touch this section because I'm honestly struggling to find some of these landmarks under all that muscle.

I'm still in the process of mimicking. I found myself very easy to fall focusing on the details of lines instead of muscles and bigger structure...Hope could improve one day by keep practicing... Any critic/advice are more than appreciated!
