Asked for help
Hi guys, hope to receive critique and feedback!! :) It took me a while for this one because I realized I misunderstood a lot of points and reviewed again, hopefully what I did now are better.
Which areas can I improve on?
Which did I do wrong?
Really appreciate any comments!
Thank youu!~~

Hey, @Micaza! I see you’ve kept track of various landmarks, that’s good!
In the front pose, I’d suggest also adding the ASIS, which are pretty important bony landmarks of the torso in a front view. There’s also one more thing: since she’s bending to her left side, the ribcage is tilted, so the line that connects the two sides of the bottom of the ribcage should not be horizontal, but diagonal. In other words, on the side that’s compressing, the 10th ribs are being pulled inward, while on the other side, which is stretching, we’ll see the ribs poking out from under the skin. I’m attaching an image with a quick note over your drawing!
And, for suggestion sake, personally, I like to think of this Landmarks exercise is 3 steps:
1) First, just draw a simple gesture.
2) Identify the landmarks on the reference by tracing over it.
3) Do another sketch pass over the initial gesture, letting your drawing be informed by the landmarks you found on the reference and making adjustments and developments.
I’m attaching a GIF to illustrate the process I described above and a diagram pointing out the landmarks I’ve noticed in the reference and how I used them in my drawing. As you practice this exercise on your own, I’d suggest maybe writing down, next to your drawings, the names of the landmarks you identify in the poses you use, at least in the beginning - this can help keep you focus on the landmarks themselves rather than on other aspects of the drawing such as contours or surface details.
About the Greater Trocanther, remember the “donut” shape of the muscles around it, as Stan mentions in the lesson!
Finally, please keep in mind that the style of drawing and the level of exaggeration I’ve used in my example don’t need to be faced as “the correct way”, but rather as variable, subjective choices. The key thing here, after all, is finding the landmarks of the body and being aware of them to guide our drawing process and develop a result beyond the quick gesture.
Hope this helps!
If you have any questions, please just let me know.
Best regards!

Do you think I did the exercises right?
I think I need a lot moreeee practice drawing boxes, but I don’t know how to improve?
I’m not sure if I am simplifying enough the animals? Please let me know your thoughts and any critique is very much appreciated! :)
Thanks!~

Do you guys think I get the Bean practices right and applied it properly in the gesture drawings?
I was so skeptical of my Bean practices, I had to try including them in my gestures drawing if it aligns well? I think I’m blind in terms of my own mistakes so feedbacks are highly appreciated :)
Thanks!

Hi, I am not sure what areas to improve on and what I am lacking. Any feedback is very much appreciated (even if it’s months late haha).
Hope I can hear from anyone soon :)
Looks great, I'd just experiment with using a brush that allows you to get more variety in your lines (varying opacity/size of line). Proko has at least a couple of good line quality vids on youtube
these are amazing!! It might help if you draw more guidelines before you go permanent this would be hard for 30 second drawings but if you practice this in your 2 minute studies I think it’ll help you to create even more definition because you already laid out the base
