the lighter pear I tried while watching the assignment video. the darker version was the best i could do today. I want to give it another try tomorrow. critique is very welcome, thank you! Have a great evening. Pat
This is my try for today. It has lighter values than yesterdays drawing. Should I go darker again next time? Ty

I followed along with the back landmarks video. This felt tricky to do without much knowledge of anatomy, but it makes me excited to start learning!

I like these, especially the edge contrast between the hard cast/occlusion shadows and the softer half-tones and form shadows.
My immediate suggestion for improvement would be to darken the shadows (and also the half-tones a little bit), especially the cast/occlusion shadows.
