This was so great. The experiential process points, like about constantly switching back and forth between grips and techniques, really illuminate how it all comes together. Thank you!

I didn't know he worked in the industry that long, amazing. Looking forward to learning from an experienced and seasoned master. I've watched him on youtube a few times and I've always enjoyed his lessons very practical. I'll put aside my non-photo blue pencil for the red!

Very interesting your method.
I have one question. The red pencil you're using as planification stage is a current prismacolor or it's a special red color?
I´m asking this because you show a scanned page on photoshop an it appears the program detecs this color at the moment so the erasing is a matter of seconds.
Or could I use any red pencil and photoshop will detect it in the same way?

Loved this!! Will definitely be working on some primitives. and trying to understand them from a 3-D perspective! Might go ahead and find some face references and try breaking them into primitive shapes :) Thanks for the lesson, Ryan!
