I admit I really haven't internalized the muscle groups. Hopefully I'll get better after this course.

Last time I tried this course it was too advanced for me. Hopefully I learned enough by now to restart it! Using a different reference since I already traced the one supplied too many times 🤣

Nice! This is a great study. Good for you for coming back to it. There is always something to learn within anatomy. To deepen your understanding, you could study the connection points of the muscles, and how each muscle is layered. For example, the infraspinatus, teres minor, teres major, and long & medial head all connect to the humorous bone and interlace each other (shown in the full color image). The deltoid blankets all these connections, so it should be indicated that it is overlapping these muscles instead of sitting next to them (shown in the black and white image from Artistic Anatomy). Hope that helps. You're doing great!

Hi @Shah Areq Mohaimen, nice work here. Very clean lines and most everything is in the right place. Just be careful with the muscles around the shoulder girdle -- don't forget to include the Teres Major, which is the muscle that is making the bulge underneath the Latissumus. Overall great job!

pls don’t judge am a beginner. I tried my best here and I was wondering if anyone could give some art critiques pls have a nice day r
Melanie Scearce
Looking good @Daisy Silly! I drew over your drawing on one side to clarify some of those smaller muscles of the back. Hope that helps!

here's the first tracing

Wow, this is beautiful. Great work. The only thing off is the teres minor -- it's going to be sandwiched between the infraspinatus and the teres major, barely visible in this pose.
@chinanoahli
I just returned from the shoulder bones assignment and need help with the anatomy tracing for the second assignment.

First time trying the course, hope to have a good journey here. Also my bad for the image quality but can anyone critique these please? I like to also add that I trace all of this by active recalling (though I look for the reference names of the muscle I trace), so that's why some muscle seem off.

Did the first one while watching the video, and the other two using references (mostly Netter's anatomy atlas)

Hi! I noticed there were some areas where the muscle fibers were running in the wrong direction so I did a trace-over to help show the correct origin and insertion. Overall, something that may help you is to label the muscles in your drawings -- this will help you to identify each one on the body as you are learning. Learn mnemonic shapes for each muscle (ie: a kite shape for the trapezius, bat wings for the latissimus) to further help you identify. Hope this helps!
@fifiyellow
I did all of the images. I learnt about the muscles of the human body.
@luigitookthel
I only did 4 out of the 5 Images. I have never studied anatomy beforehand, so I took it as an opportunity to learn some of the muscles, and heavily relied on diagrams from books.

I know this course is so many years old but is there a way to get the brush Stan uses to line up the muscles?
Waner Hoogleiter
This is my second time doing this course. I hope get better this time.
