This was very pleasing to follow along with.
I feel like I could have pushed the gesture a bit more, but overall I like what I was able to get out of the process.

Thanks for the Lesson again! I was a bit more confident than the previous lesson, still struggling a bit with the tools and gestural hand (hard to get the pressure or line I want with that hand position yet). But I'm happy with the result!

Hey Patrick, I wanted to say thank you. I've been learning so much since purchasing your course. I've rewatched this one segment four times so far and will rewatch it four times more. Worth every penny. Did the completed version digitally again.

I like his style of teaching because I get into this relaxed and focused mood that really opens up my mind to what he’s saying as I draw. I feel like my art is getting better because of it.
Although it’s far from perfect, this is better than I’ve done before in figure drawing.

This course is just wonderful! Watching and listening while drawing - it almost puts me in a meditative state. The result of my first drawing is secondary, as I enjoyed the process incredibly. Thank you for these revelations

Thank you for the demonstration. It was somewhat hard to follow the anatomy explanation while also trying to keep up with the drawing process. Will probably need to rewatch to absorb the anatomy stuff a bit better.

Your artworks are so inspiring. Hope my little steps bring me at least little closer to art level you have. Thank you for this course.

Hello there! Here's my drawing which I very much enjoyed doing :). The rendering is not as good as I would like it to be, but for me the focus was on gesture and form, especially the torso and the pelvis area. @Patrick Jones, do you always draw on newsprint paper? I draw on standard printing paper, and I find the rendering not as smooth as in your drawing. I used Conté Pierre noire pencil.
Cheers,
Romain

Relaxing drawing session, felt comfortable most of the time other than some times where my pencil control was off. Heavy critiquing appreciated

Fantastic demonstration and drawing process! I'm loving the commentary and explanations that accompany these lessons. This is just the type of course I needed to jump back into drawing in this manner and shake some of that rust off. As someone who hasn't drawn like this since July of 2020, I was expecting a horror show but I was pleasantly surprised by the results I've got by taking things slowly, drawing alongside the video as you went through the various stages of the drawing. With still much to learn, I'm looking forward to what the rest of the course has to offer, here are the results of what I was able to achieve. Cheers for this Patrick! I'll be sure to look at the other courses you've created in the near future.
