It seems as though I’m a bit off on my light rendering.

I wonder if it’s possible to get the same effects with graphite, e.g. a 2B pencil

Despite my line still needs to be improved, this is the most confident line I have ever made! Plus, I feel a lot of fun finally!!

Still exploring (and having a lot of fun!) , focusing on gesture and keeping my hand going. I can see myself gaining more confidence with my initial lines and being more accurate. I'm also pushing my drawings a bit further than @Patrick Jones to add structure having focused on the upper-body and the upper-back muscles with Stan prior to this course.

Following along in this first video. It usually takes me more time to understand/construct a full figure, but here I feel I’m going faster and I’m quite happy with that. Can’t wait to move forward in this course. Thanks @Patrick Jones 😊!

Hi @Patrick Jones 😀! I hope this finds you well. I have just started watching the first workshop in this course - I can’t wait to get cracking! I was simply wondering whether the reference images you use are available for download. No worries if they aren’t. Thank you!

ps: may I send you a private message via Instagram with regards to your Anatomy of Style online workshop?

Hi Romain, the deal with the models is no photos beyond what's on screen. a screenshot is the best workaround. I didn't see your dm as a lot are filtered out, but all details of the workshop are at this link: https://www.pjartworks.com/online-workshops

It's such a wonderful demonstration, thank you! I learned gesture drawings from Proko, and also love Glenn Vilppu's messier gestures, but have trouble understanding his thinking. Your gestures are a perfect bridge between the two worlds, and now I understand Vilppu's gesture drawings too.
