This is a nice sketch overall. Talking about the left side sketch you should add more line weight and line variation. And be consistent with adding shadows. The right side sketch, so whenever you draw a structure try to reduce the number of lines you use. Try to draw the structure with flowy long lines, you can learn more about this when you learn gesture drawing. You can also use simple shapes to draw structure which also doesn't require so many lines. Otherwise , good job.
@discoaquinas
Thanks - all good points. I suppose I tried to do the whole 'scribble' gesture thing rather than the cleaner, more restrained one. And you're absolutely right about line weight and variation. Thanks so much for taking the time to look over my work!

Hey guys, I have recently started to use the proko website and it's been really fun. I won't say I am a beginner at art, but i don't have any professional experience as well. I just want some critiques on this piece and just want to know what could I have done to make it better. Sugar coat it for me would ya :')

it's great for a beginner, you know what you want to draw and how to do it, I strongly suggest learning foreshortening and perspective because if you remove the arm here it makes it clear that the breast area is too low for normal, and antomy would be a big help but you need to have some good grasp on shapes in 3d form.
@adamilustarte
it needs more dynamic pose and adding some foreshortening would help, the hand feels a bit too small the gun feel small as well. And the left leg positioning felt a tad off, i would reccomend drawing the hips so that it feel mere solid in the construction of the body, even though its not shown. Beside those the rest are nice, and the color are good, wish you the best

rebbeca! wouldn't have thought I'd see her here Haha. the rendering and shading looks good! and the anatomy is decent (theres a few lines for the muscles and knees that are misplaced on the legs) and maybe you could add more to the composition (more effect, cropping, etc) to make it more dynamic and badass

I am at a point of my life where I really have to focus on my studies even though I plan to pursue art as a career... But I often have to sacrifice on my art cause of it and people around me just seem to be getting better and better, what should I do?
@wayne_4360
So my question is, how do I make my faces( especially women) look good and attractive while going for a more realistic look? I usually see people draw women's faces with big beautiful eyes and small lips and nose which are often not realistic, so how do I not do that and still make them look good?

Do The type of brushes that you use in digital painting really affect your painting??

Hello everyone , here is my submission for the june proko challenge . So the I guess the genre for my poster is action and adventure. So in my art work I wanted to depict myself as an outlaw who is a smuggler and commits crimes IN SPACE with his hot/deadly partner, my partner usually acts as a distraction using her charm while I sneak up behind the enemy. Sorry if it sounded too childish 😅, but my inspiration for this was I guess my thirst for adventure ,action and my life actually being interesting. The medium I used were acrylic paint for this . Oh an finally I wanna say that participating in this and creating this art work was so fun, please keep having more challenges for us Mr stan 😌. So I present to you " SP⭐CE BUG "
