I'm still recouperating from my shoulder replacement surgery, so I only got three done: one each day until now. My circles at the side of my heads look awfully small, but I started at the hairline and ended up just below the nose, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

My submission for the ginger root people has very wobbly lines, but I recently had shoulder replacement surgery on my dominant right arm, so I'm having a difficult time drawing with my arm.

you draw with great perspective. I tried to imitate, with little success. But you show me something to strive for.

I was looking at Lenserd martell's post and thought his people looked awesome, so I redid my drawing. It still leaves a lot to be desired, though

i am finally caught up, but last week i had surgery to replace my right shoulder; my dom hand. so please excuse th messy lines; i am drawing from my fingers, alone. i have a question in my second and third hand drawings: are the fingers going towards me or away from me. i guessed it was away from me, but i don't know. hmm... i can't seem to attach my jpg image...wrong extension; now i have it.

I agree with Rachel -- it is very inspiring to see you picking up your craft after your surgery. I hope your recovery is going well!

Here’s a similar reference to yours. Consider the fingertips. If you can see the tips of the fingers, they are probably coming towards you. The creases around the joints helps too. Your passion to practice so soon after your surgery is inspiring. These are great. Keep it up 👍

I used the face of a dog to do my animal portrait shapes.
