Excellent drawings. I think you have a real handle on plane changes to fill out the form.

Oh boy, first time drawing anything other than stickmen. I hardly can separate all of the 5 values, had difficulty using the different pencils correctly too.
If you are having trouble with seeing values, try squinting. Try and make sure there is no glare from ambient light on your subject. The more you practice the more your eyes perceive value changes. Keep up the good work.

Intermediate student looking to crisp up my fundamentals, attempting the portrait next.

Circles are really important. I start with an HB pencil, then switch to a coloured pencil and then follow up with a micron pen so I get triple the amount of circles on the same page. Draw your circles from right to left and then go in the opposite direction. One direction will feel more natural to you but train yourself in both directions. Keep up the good work.

Hello all! Here is my pear exercise. This was super challenging for me, but by the end I was noticing the differences in values. Need practice on edges... Looking forward to any and all feedback! This was fun.
