Well, I guess it’s time to start doing these on a daily basis.

I focused on using shading and angles to add depth and mess with perspective. This was a fun assignment.

I will get the tools! Also, its cool to see someone else who appreciates the power of mechanical pencils.

So that's why everyone is scared of Waluigi! Very inspiring and interesting video.

Here is my attempt on accurate portions. I had a lot of trouble with this, the overall shape is quite a bit off. Feedback would be very much appreciated.

Hi @clickbrick, this is a great attempt. I overlaid it over the reference image so we can see why it feels off. I think the overall shape for the most part is on point with the exception of it being slightly squished horizontally. It feels more like an issue with the placement of the features. The nose is elongated, forcing you to increase the length of the face so you could place the rest of the features. Hope this helps!

I hate circles

Circles are really important. I start with an HB pencil, then switch to a coloured pencil and then follow up with a micron pen so I get triple the amount of circles on the same page. Draw your circles from right to left and then go in the opposite direction. One direction will feel more natural to you but train yourself in both directions. Keep up the good work.

I tried my best to simplify but i think I overdid it.
