added comment inThe Blob Approach to Form
I’m having a bit of a tough time wrapping my head around how to correctly implement the blobs in 3D. It’s a bit confusing to me when I try to vaguely align the square contour lines with the blob. Please help me with what I am Obviously missing.

You're getting it just fine. When you have a page of blocks in all these positions, they must have come from somewhere, and in this case, they came from your mind on blobs.
The confusion of "aligning" the straight with the curved lines is advanced. Don't worry about it yet. For now, it is to get you guessing, sensitizing your awareness of basic directions.

I focused on using shading and angles to add depth and mess with perspective. This was a fun assignment.

Here is my attempt on accurate portions. I had a lot of trouble with this, the overall shape is quite a bit off. Feedback would be very much appreciated.

Hi @clickbrick, this is a great attempt. I overlaid it over the reference image so we can see why it feels off. I think the overall shape for the most part is on point with the exception of it being slightly squished horizontally. It feels more like an issue with the placement of the features. The nose is elongated, forcing you to increase the length of the face so you could place the rest of the features. Hope this helps!
