Here is my first attempt at drawing these animals before watching the demonstration video. I'll describe them in the order I drew them. The buffalo was easiest because I had a photo reference - I could quickly identify and draw the basic shapes. The hippo was more challenging. I had trouble breaking its form into simple shapes, so I started by drawing some details first to help me understand which parts were most important to capture. The rooster was the most difficult of all, but eventually I found some key lines that came together to create shapes. I feel like I didn't follow the assignment perfectly with the hippo and rooster - instead of using only complete shapes, I sometimes used lines that connected different shapes together. These lines and shapes together created the final form.

Finding masters to study seems very difficult, especially if you are looking for line art. Drawing from studying masters is really a big step from the previous assignments. I just hope with practice I will improve

These sort of studies give you something to aspire towards and you will learn a ton. This is looking wonderful. Love the texture.

I've done these as extra assignments after seeing Proko's demo. It was so fun to draw from art that I like. I've let myself loose and did not put pressure on the result. I feel like I definitely need these types of drawing sessions to enjoy the process

Here are my drawings before watching the demo. Penguin: It was really fast, probably 5-10 minutes. VR-Girl: This took me a while ~40mins, I first drew the boots which were nice and simple, but had to redraw the upper portion of the body twice to have decent proportions. Hand: I did better than expected, took me about 15-20 mins. I notice that most of my proportions issues / inaccurate drawings are related to me losing patience with visually measuring distances and angles and of course ability to draw the lines beautifully. I feel like I'm sometimes focusing too much trying to make a believable drawing, but not focusing enough on my lines.

I've tried to draw a salamander, but in the end it looks like a salamander and a frog got a baby together. It was harder than expected, I thought it will be similar to drawing a snail. I will try to redraw it cause I think I know how to improve the proportions. Uploading it here I can also see more clear the difference between the line weight, which was random.

A salamander is essentially a long frog anyways. You did great. You even added some perspective to this drawing. If you want it to look less froggy though, try shrinking the head a bit in comparison to the body.

Snail before and after. Boots - tried to be braver :)

They look really good!

I had two attempts at this snail, first time I felt the neck proportions were off. Still not satisfied, but it's honest work xD I cringed through the boots and I lost my patience Now I will watch Proko drew them, hopefully my morale will go up again xD

I like the first snail and the boots as well I think it would be worth it to try adding the laces. It's hard but I got through it and the final result still looks good even though I messed up a few laces. I think your lines are pretty confident, good work!

Here are my first and second attempt on this pear. First attempt was before watching Stan's demo. On the second attempt I really tried to squeeze my eyes and take all the information from this video and the demo

This is my first attempt without watching proko's demo
