I've been drawing seriously for a little over a year now. And the more I learn, the more I discover that drawing is problem-solving. I'm loving it. In many ways, it is like solving a puzzle with creativity. The more times you solve the puzzle, the more efficient shortcuts you discover via intuition.

Great attitude. You couldn't do better than to see problems as opportunities. It will make all your hard work more enjoyable.

I love the problem-solving part of drawing too :D I draw since I was super young... But I just copied my references, I believed that it was drawing competence, but at the end it was only an observational skill... It's been two years since I flipped 180° and really learn drawing technique... Real drawing theory, and not "meditative" copies 🤭 What a great journey

I'm fairly new to drawing, so I highly appreciate your content, Marshall. I decided to attempt a personal study of the "Rapids" by drawing a simpler version that focused on the plain changes, shapes, and line rhythms. While doing so, I think I noticed another gentle but interesting plain change. Every time I look at this piece, I find something new, thanks to your initial insight. Again, thank you :)

If this is just a beginner figure drawing course, will there be an advanced version?
Brent Eviston
This collection of courses goes from foundational basic skills to more advanced tools and techniques. Revisiting fundamentals is essential even for advanced students. You should find a lot of value here regardless of your skill level.
