Would you say the names of the four spines (cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and front stretch) are slightly misleading? Since you are not really drawing the real 4 spines in the drawing and instead drawing 4 gesture lines that describe the movement of the torso.

Do we have to curve the edges of the robo bean? Feel like it adds a lot of extra work.

Hello professor! I was wondering what the difference between gestures and these poses are. In these timed exercises are you just creating the figure with as much detail as possible?

Here are the unbalanced poses I did. For the invention exercise I took a regular stance and made the model shift into a left hook. The weight shifts to the back leg.

Hey here’s the mannequinizations I did! I appreciate any critiques. Right of the bat I think there are a few issues with proportions and I think some of the contour lines could have been better like explained in the video,

Hey I was wondering if anyone could critique my images. It was a little difficult doing the seated one but I tried my best.
Hello!
I recently started doing Proko's figure drawing course and eventually will move onto the anatomy course after. My goal is to make pixel art for the game I'm making so I want to get better fast, as I need to start making the assets for it as soon as possible. I'm not completely new to drawing and I do have experience doing gesture drawing through 4 years of college. However, I am new to anatomy. I'm putting about 3-5 hours into the course each day to finish it quickly, however I know this is rushing and it takes time to really grasp these concepts.
Does anyone have any advice on what I should do? Of course, I will keep practicing gestures everyday, but I can't spend a week on each section of the course. Any advice would be great.
Cheers,
Kevin

Hello I was wondering if anyone could critique my gestures! The things that stick out to me right now are doing single lines instead of "stuttering" and using more c curves for the arms instead of muscle contours.
