You got some great shape variaten. Love the contrast between the straights and the curves. Clean lines, Interesting shapes. I don't see things repeating. Very well done

Did it first and then checked the rest of the video about measurements and proportions.
Stepping back I see some glaring mistakes in the face (eyebrows to high, nose to tall… ) but I liked 👍 how it turned out.
while watching the video I cached that the angle of de facial features was not align to the horizontal but tilted.
so much to learn ;)

master studies from Peter Han and Roberto de la torre. Trying to do it without construction lines with pentel brushpens and fountain pen (Lanny safari)
Second page, drawing from imagination. Previous to watching the video

Too much detail as always! I’d did these before watching Stan but feel like if I did them again I’d just be copying,(??) so I’ll try other drawings
I would try to draw them again following stan video. I have learned a lot by repeating the same thing and understanding how his method is better than mine. For example with follow trough lines, from one arm to the other…
My first try in red with corrections in blue. Second page is drawing cats from imagination (and head proportion study of those heads)

Trying the 3 different shapes from level one
- the 2 one is the smoothest but also having trouble with defining the planes
any tips for what direction to shade?
I would say shade in the direction of the form, if not, just the same directional stroke can work too!
