Ladies and gentlemen, may I present Superdad! He's dad, he's rad, he can take care of anything and he only needs one trip to do it!

Hello everyone! This is my unexpected superhero and her sidekick: "Baba G and Pisi". Baba G's superpowers include but are not limited to: Pacifying you with her caretaking superpowers, Scolding you into shame and Overfeeding you with delicious goodness untill you cannot move. She spends her days tending to her garden and taking care of everyone around her-friend or foe. Nobody is immune to her tasty treats, her gentle touch or her words of wisdom. Wherever she goes, Pisi is right there to keep her company. She's inspired by my grandma-Georgia (85yo) and her sidekick is my cat-Pisi (14yo).

Love both the idea and the art, it's amazing.

Wearing a blue attire, it didn’t take long until people started calling him “The Mailman ”. Seemingly popping out of nowhere ”The Mailman” could deliver packages faster than anyone. Whenever you needed something he showed up with what you needed. This came to benefit the current superheroes who roamed the cities. If you were in need of materials? THE MAILMAN CAME TO YOUR AID! if you were in need of weapons? THE MAILMANS WAS THERE TO PROVIDE THEM! Of course this lead to a lot of questions. Many people and even some superheroes were questioning, how? How could the Mailman deliver so many packages on time in so many different locations? But no one ever got the chance to ask him as he always dissapeared soon after his delivery. While the superheroes and people admired him it was a whole different story for the villains. Getting on the mailman’s bad side was the last thing you wanted and could ultimately destroy an evil plan. Beacouse if your pakages never arrived, building a weapon of mass destruction would be impossible. Not much is known about the mailman. But he is a hero. A hero that despite all arrives on time to help the people in need.

Fantastic design!

"Cat Lady" She took such a good care of her cats when they were alive. They never really left her side, not even after they passed away. Wanted to try to hop off my comfort zone and approach this one with a bit more comic style angle. I really enjoyed doing those sketchy/messy lines. Was fun, hope you like it. Thanks!

That's great, I can relate :D!

Fantastic theme! Is it allowed to use an older illustration if it fits the theme or does it have to be newly created for this challenge?
Kristian Nee
It has to be created for this challenge

That is a sweet family and the characters could be right in an animation film. I like the hairstyles and stripe designs especially! For your questions: The first thing that caught my eye is the green hue. It looks very artifical, almost glowing. I assume it was supposed to feel more nature like. So I would shift the color palette to more natural tones. A bit more muted yellow greens, blue greens for bigger leafs. Also the red and yellow are bit too saturated for my taste. I personally would try to fnd good reference for these materials and get the saturated colors back in with feathers and accessories. And if you say the son likes accessory maybe make him wear a lot more than his father, so that is seeable. You could also push the poses a bit even if they are just base concepts for now. The pose of the boy could be more energetic, breat pushed outwrds, maybe hands on hips, big smile. The father could have a hand layed on his sons shoulder to reflect his personality. Of course these are just some ideas, take what you like, if you like something or not if not :). Greta job on the two!

You are asking about the black/white sketch, right? The lineart is really clean. i love all the details with the decorations and bandaged clothing and his face too! I think his right lower arm part is too short. But I am not good at human proportions myself. So I would like to encourage you to push the pose. It of course depends on how you want a final image of him to look like, but you could try a more energetic, victorious pose. Or an actual fighting moment. Or even something completely different, like being exhausted and injured standing over a defeated enemy/bear. Doesn't matter what direction but I would push the pose to feel the moment, put a little story/situation in it (if you want of course). I think it will be great, I wish I could make such smooth line art :D
