The pelvis of the figure in the middle. the convergence of the box is not correct

Draw your lines darker. It's very hard to see where your blob is. I cannot really determine if you made a mistake or not when you lines are this light
Ho-Him Xue
Really enjoyed this. Cylinders and ellipses angles threw me off a bit. if anyone can give some feedback I would really appreciate it :)

feels A bit messy due to continuously trying to search for the right rotations. some of the boxes may have perspective issues. Any critiques welcomed

I noticed on your first drawing that you had missed a side plane on the thumb side of the hand that may help you find the proper perspective for the fingers. Hope this helps!

Line quality looks a little messy. It's the only thing that comes to my mind
Ho-Him Xue
Ngl this was really difficult. The boxes do have some perspective errors and the portraits have proportion errors. Yet again line quality should be a bit cleaner but because of worrying about proportions and perspective it made produce a lot of searching lines which can be confusing when doing perspective. If anyone has any critiques feel free to let me know :)

Had a go without using any grid lines. in terms of what to improve I feel like my horizontal lines aren’t consistently straight, sloppy line work, hesitant lines and some perspective issues with the train doors. I definitely need to get into to habit of using a sharper pencil to as my blunt lines made it difficult to find the right lines that converge to the vanishing point. Will definitely continue doing line warmup exercises to practise getting straighter lines. welcome to any other critiques

You nailed the assignment. This is a super compelling composition. Great job!
Ho-Him Xue
Any critiques you would give? I feel like my line quality isn’t there yet
Melanie Scearce
These are wonderful and I think you have great line quality. Continue to focus on the shape design and your line quality will improve with it!
Ho-Him Xue
Not too sure if I pushed them far enough

Dont worry, you have pushed them far enough
Melanie Scearce
These are awesome! I love the exploration you did with the hog design. If you feel like you want to take it further, narrow it down one design you think is most successful and do some more iterations, keeping in mind the goal of the lesson, with the point of ending up with one polished design using simple shapes.
Josh Fiddler
regardless, you certainly got the iteration thing down. I get attached.

Decided to do master studies of James Gurney and Glenn Keane. Didn’t get into all of the scales for the dinosaur but covered all of the major lines. Wasn’t too sure about adding shadow and didn’t as I thought this was a study purely on line work
Ho-Him Xue
Any critiques would be nice, simplified the image and changed things to improve the composition.

My light and shadow drawing but with different light source
@thewayofallflesh
Maybe the wrinkles around the stomach should've been bolder or darker but overall I get the idea of where the light source is
