I redid the 3 sketches and then did a fourth sketch of the Pokemon Salamence. I'd start off sketching but then I would find myself forgetting to focus on the rhythm and in the middle of contouring. This was especially the case with the hand picture.

I challenged myself by doing the intermediate project where you create an imaginary character. I found 3 reference photos. I made a half fox half dragon character. I've never done anything like this before so I'm really proud! I'll name this character Nix the Foxragon. : )
After a day away from these drawings I am now seeing that my lines were very "not confident" looking. I don't think I see a single tapered stroke in this project. I am glad I can see that & am aware however because that means I have another opportunity to improve at it.
I will continue working on confident lines and tapered strokes.

I tried to focus on drawing confident CSI lines and avoided erasing.
It was very difficult not to erase! My hand wobbled at times making the lines look not as confident but I think that's because I don't have much experience drawing or even handwriting these days. I need to practice drawing lines more often.

14 Day Challenge
#3/14
I am a beginner but I challenged myself by doing the intermediate drawing exercises. I think my lines have improved as I was a bad pecker.

I challenged myself today by drawing the camel from the past project. It came out okay I guess but the perspective or angle is all wrong. All my pictures look like side profiles when they shouldn’t be. Excited to learn about perspective!

I redid the assignment after some feedback. I do feel like it is easier to be more accurate in shape/perspective/angle when I peck at the page because it’s easier to undo inaccurate lines, so this assignment was hard for me to do mentally.
I stuck to only confident lines

I honestly gave up on this drawing. The coloring made it hard to change what is wrong with it at its core. Next time I won’t color or mess with values. I think I need to work on perspective first. Any advice is appreciated.
