These look great. I didn't get to this lesson yet but one thing I noticed is that it looks like your cylinders can be a little wider around the thigh in the first three drawings.

Hi there guys!
I usually practice a lot on drawing gestures but I notice that I didn't post much and ask for feedbacks about my works. So here are some of the gesture drawings that I've made, the first one is 1 min poses and the second one is 2 mins.
I found out that one of the most difficult part for me is estimating the length of the torso, specifically the distance between the shoulders to the hips. I often make it a bit longer than what it actually should look like.
Please give any tips or advice on how can I improve my gestures. I would really appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

Hello. I have something to say about my drawing and I would like to ask for guidance because it's been troubling me a lot these days. But first, I will tell a little story about myself. I started drawing when I was like 6-7 years old by copying my favorite characters and stuff, but 6 years have passed and I have not yet learned the fundamentals. Now, I am 14 years old and I just started learning the fundamentals 2 months ago by watching Proko's Figure Drawing Fundamentals course. Yes, I think I am improving at a very nice pace but I can't seem to have patience in learning other things such as drawing hands, characters, faces, and other complex things. So, I tend to focus more now on improving drawing other things rather than focusing on the fundamentals. I think I am really just overthinking this but I just want to improve my drawing skills. What can you say about it?

Day 12 doing gestures now i’ve finally opened up to some 2 mins gestures, turns out adding thickness to gestures is way harder than just conveying them with lines. Most of them came out pretty poorly as expected comsidering i’ve almost never drew 2 mins gestures at all, if some of you feel like they could point out some mistakes and give out some helpful critique please do so as any help would be tremendously helpful, thankyou in advanced

Hello!
Here's my attempt at this activity - I did one page of 30 sec - 1 min sketches of gestures from the Proko model pack. Then I did the same gestures for 2 mins each to see how the different times had different results, also having that 30 seconds warm-up.
These are super feathered and so the first critique of having of my own is to focus on being more deliberate with my lines and using fewer pencil strokes to express the lines I'm trying to make.
Anyway, hit me with what you'd advise!
Cheers
Ps: My niece is also into figure drawing, as you can see on the last page! 😉

Hi guys this is my first time posting. Here are some of my very first gesture drawing exercises, They're mostly 30 sec poses but there's also a couple 2 min ones (they're from the following lesson plus a pic i liked). I've mostly been struggling with identifying the underlying movement of the figure, instead of focusing on the features; plus with the 30 sec poses i guess i lose track of proportions... in any case, here they are. Any criticism/ advice is gladly welcome :)

Hi guys, I've got a question for you, one that has less to do with technique and more to do with a practical use of space I guess...
I've started exercising with 30 sec and 2 mins gesture sketches but I always find myself being unable to fit more than one pose sketch per page (I use a 'normal' A4 blank notebook and an HB pencil). Should I try and draw smaller sketches or maybe use bigger sheets? Or am I simply overthinking a trivial issue? (my fear is that by not using space on the page properly I don't get to draw as much... I guess)
In any case, I'll be thankful for any response.
Bye :)
