Here’s day 11 on gesture drawing what are your thoughts on them? And i ready to try my hands on the beans yet?

Your gesture drawings are really nice and simple. I like how you can portray clean and fewer lines and make it look like it has more motion.

Hello. I have something to say about my drawing and I would like to ask for guidance because it's been troubling me a lot these days. But first, I will tell a little story about myself. I started drawing when I was like 6-7 years old by copying my favorite characters and stuff, but 6 years have passed and I have not yet learned the fundamentals. Now, I am 14 years old and I just started learning the fundamentals 2 months ago by watching Proko's Figure Drawing Fundamentals course. Yes, I think I am improving at a very nice pace but I can't seem to have patience in learning other things such as drawing hands, characters, faces, and other complex things. So, I tend to focus more now on improving drawing other things rather than focusing on the fundamentals. I think I am really just overthinking this but I just want to improve my drawing skills. What can you say about it?

Copying other artist’s work is a great way to learn. I used to draw from comic books when I was 14. I’m just starting to do that again. It’s fun and I’ve already seen an improvement in my work. Keep doing that if you enjoy it and post your work online to get feedback. If you’re having trouble with drawing something specific, like hands for example, try to practice copying the hands that your fav artists draw. You can pick up the fundamentals along the way.
